Revise your manuscript

Reviewer Response & Statistical Revision

A reviewer has questioned your analysis. What needs to change?

A revision letter can mix requests for clarification with changes that require new analysis. We help you separate the two, assess what your data can support, and prepare a defensible statistical response before the resubmission deadline.

Who this helps

For authors with a journal decision letter and an existing medical research manuscript. Especially useful when comments concern model choice, missing data, confounding, sensitivity analyses, or interpretation.

What you receive

Reviewer comment assessment
A response plan distinguishing explanations, corrections, additional analyses, and requests that the available data cannot support.
Agreed analysis revisions
Reanalysis and sensitivity checks specified in the quotation, with updated tables or figures and a record of methodological changes.
Revised statistical text
Proposed changes to the Methods, Results, and relevant interpretation, aligned with the analyses actually performed.
Point-by-point response draft
A documented explanation of each statistical change, or a reasoned explanation when a requested analysis is inappropriate or infeasible.

Scope to agree before work starts

The quotation specifies the comments, analyses, and revision rounds covered. Full manuscript rewriting, new data collection, and additional reviewer rounds require a separate scope. Authors approve the final response; editorial acceptance cannot be guaranteed.

Questions about this service

Can you help if the reviewer requests an inappropriate test?

Yes. We assess the request against the research question, study design, and available data. The response can explain why an alternative method or a limitation statement is more appropriate.

Is a complete reanalysis included?

Only when explicitly included in the quotation. We first establish whether the issue can be resolved by clarification, targeted checks, or a wider reanalysis.

Can you meet my journal deadline?

Include the deadline in your enquiry. Timing is confirmed after reviewing the scope and availability; an enquiry does not reserve a delivery date.

Request your quotation

Email a short project summary using the points alongside. We review the request manually and reply with any scoping questions before preparing a quotation.
