Match bootstrap resampling to the dependence structure and target statistic.

How to use this worksheet
Define the statistic and the independent sampling unit. Resample whole clusters or other
appropriate units when observations are dependent. Repeat every data-dependent analysis
step required by the target procedure. Record failed replicates, interval method and
Monte Carlo stability checks.

Save a working copy and keep the original blank version. Use public, hypothetical or
aggregate information only; do not enter patient identifiers, credentials or confidential
records. Keep source evidence in your approved project workspace. Mark unresolved text
fields UNKNOWN or NOT REPORTED with a reason; never substitute zero for an unknown count.

Hypothetical worked case
A fictional dataset has repeated measurements within people. Resampling individual
measurements breaks within-person dependence; resampling people with their measurements
better reflects the sampling unit for a person-level population.

Decision rule and limitations
Do not assume any bootstrap interval is valid for any statistic or sample size. Justify
the resampling scheme, inspect failures and report the interval method explicitly.
