Calculation results

Total: 40

Expected cells (row order): 7.5, 12.5, 7.5, 12.5

0 of 4 cells below 5; 0 below 1.

Assumptions and limits

Expected count = row total × column total / grand total. This independence model is for mutually exclusive categories and independent observations; paired, clustered and weighted data need different methods. Counts below 5 or 1 are descriptive flags, not an automatic test selector. No p-value or claim about association is produced. Zero marginal totals are rejected.
