Assumptions to document
Enrollment target = ceiling(analyzable target ÷ (1 − loss / 100)). Recruitment months = ceiling(enrollment target ÷ monthly enrollments). This arithmetic assumes a constant rate; add setup, site activation, seasonal variation, and final participant follow-up separately. It does not justify the original sample size or guarantee completion.
Try a slower enrollment rate and a higher loss rate as separate scenarios. More recruitment does not resolve missing-data bias.
