Assumptions and limits
Assumes an unweighted percentage 100×count/denominator, a known common denominator and rounding to nearest with exact halfway ties upward. It does not apply to weighted, standardized, model-based or differently rounded percentages. It cannot recover individual records or prove which count was used. A zero result means no compatible integer under these assumptions; check denominators and rounding conventions before alleging an error. A range is not a confidence interval. Denominator up to 100 million; 0–3 decimal places.
