Plan a hypothetical workload with two independent reviewers at each screening stage. All default values are fictional.

Calculation results

Full texts: 100; title disagreements: 100; full-text disagreements: 10

Title screening: 33.3333 hours; full-text screening: 50 hours; resolution: 9.16667 hours.

Total team effort: 92.5 hours

Equivalent team working days: 11.5625

Assumptions and limits

Full-text and disagreement counts round upward separately. Work = two reviewer passes plus one resolution session per disagreement. The same disagreement percentage is assumed at both stages. Resolution minutes mean total team effort per case. Divide total hours by team hours per day for equivalent working days, not a guaranteed calendar deadline. Retrieval, training, deduplication, extraction and appraisal are excluded. Rates are user assumptions, not published benchmarks. Record count is a whole number up to 10 million; percentages 0–100; minutes 0–1440; team hours per day 0.01–1000.
