Quoted-delimited text inspector

Parse a declared delimiter and audit quoted fields, row widths and header uniqueness.

Your entries stay in this page’s memory and are not submitted to us. Downloads are generated locally. Reloading or leaving the page clears your entries. Do not enter patient information.

First line declares comma, tab or semicolon. Supply a header plus at least one data row, maximum 30,000 characters and 500 rows. Double quotes escape as two double quotes; quoted fields may contain line breaks.

The starting values are hypothetical. Results update as you edit. Use aggregate or synthetic inputs only.

How to interpret the output

The parser follows an RFC 4180-style quoting model with a configurable delimiter. It preserves field content and reports width mismatches and duplicate headers; it does not infer types, execute formulas or silently repair malformed records. A leading spreadsheet formula remains text here, but requires care when exporting to spreadsheet software.
