Finite lot audit detection probability
Estimate the chance of finding at least one defect in a random audit without replacement.

Enter lot size, assumed defective-item count and sample size as whole numbers. The last two cannot exceed the lot; sample size is limited to 50,000. The defective count is a scenario assumption, not a quantity estimated from the audit. Detection means finding at least one defective item.
The starting values are hypothetical. Results update as you edit. Use aggregate or synthetic inputs only.

How to interpret the output
Assume a fixed number of defective items, uniform simple random sampling without replacement and perfect classification. The probability of no detection is a product of conditional draws without a defect. Sample limit 50,000 items.
