Friedman complete-block comparison

Rank repeated conditions within complete synthetic blocks with tie correction.

Your entries stay in this page’s memory and are not submitted to us. Downloads are generated locally. Reloading or leaving the page clears your entries. Do not enter patient information.

Use 3–30 conditions in columns and 3–30 complete independent blocks in rows. No missing values. The chi-square tail is asymptotic and can be poor with few blocks.

The starting values are hypothetical. Results update as you edit. Use aggregate or synthetic inputs only.

How to interpret the output

Within-block ranks remove block location differences. Friedman Q tests condition distributions under exchangeability within blocks; it does not estimate an effect size or determine which conditions differ. Ties are corrected, but all-tied blocks supply no ordering information.
