Linear model coefficient contrast

Combine coefficients and their covariance into a contrast estimate and standard error.

Your entries stay in this page’s memory and are not submitted to us. Downloads are generated locally. Reloading or leaving the page clears your entries. Do not enter patient information.

Use 2–20 coefficients and matching weights. Supply the full coefficient covariance matrix, including off-diagonal covariances, in the same order.

The starting values are hypothetical. Results update as you edit. Use aggregate or synthetic inputs only.

Normal 95% upper

How to interpret the output

The estimate is cᵀβ and variance cᵀVc. The displayed 95% interval uses a normal critical value, suitable only when that asymptotic approximation is justified. Finite-sample t intervals, nonlinear contrasts and covariance estimation are not supplied.
