Offset-aware elapsed-time audit

Calculate elapsed hours between explicit-offset timestamps without assuming local timezone.

Your entries stay in this page’s memory and are not submitted to us. Downloads are generated locally. Reloading or leaving the page clears your entries. Do not enter patient information.

Use YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SSZ or an explicit ±HH:MM offset. Leap seconds, fractional seconds and timezone names are unsupported. Maximum 100 timestamp pairs.

The starting values are hypothetical. Results update as you edit. Use aggregate or synthetic inputs only.

Elapsed hours in row order

How to interpret the output

Timestamp offsets define instants; elapsed time is the UTC instant difference. The tool does not validate whether an offset matches a geographic timezone or daylight-saving rule. A negative duration is reported for review rather than silently reversed. Calendar-day differences answer a different question.
