Known-item retrieval sensitivity
Check whether a search retrieves a prespecified set of known eligible records.

K rows declare known eligible benchmark records; R rows declare retrieved records. Use R,- only to declare an empty retrieved set, never together with actual R identifiers. Repeated identifiers count once. The missed list contains benchmark records absent from retrieval, not every eligible record missed by the search.
The starting values are hypothetical. Results update as you edit. Use aggregate or synthetic inputs only.

How to interpret the output
Declare the benchmark set independently of the strategy under evaluation. Use one identifier namespace. Known-item sensitivity applies only to this benchmark and cannot establish recall over all eligible literature. An empty retrieval must be explicitly declared.
